Job Summary:

The Project Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely movement of essential project components, coordinating communication between departments, and supporting the efficient completion of tasks by handling errands and delivering materials, as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers and picks up essential project packages, documents, and materials from external vendors, suppliers, and stakeholder to ensure project continuity

• Transports project team members to and from project sites, vendors, or other destinations as required by the project timeline

• Assists with the loading and unloading of project materials, ensuring all items are delivered to the correct project location and verified against delivery documents

• Assists or collaborates with the other departments to provide better service to customers

• Performs additional tasks related to the project as assigned by supervisors to support the timely and efficient completion of project goals

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Has the ability to demonstrate critical thinking, generate effective solutions and other approaches to problems

• Knowledge of island routes to ensure timely delivery or pick up of company materials or personnel

 

Education and Experience:

The Project Expeditor position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma. The position also requires a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Additionally, having previous admin- or office-work experience is highly recommended.​
