Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized office clerk to support our administrative and accounting
functions. This role involves handling general office duties, managing data and documentation, and
assisting with waste management schedules and customer service. The ideal candidate should be a proactive
learner capable of multi-tasking efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • General Office Duties: Answer phone calls, manage emails and correspondence, and greet visitors in a
    professional manner.
    Perform general office tasks, including managing office supplies and maintaining a tidy workspace.

  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and service requests, providing information and resolving
    issues as needed.
    Coordinate with clients to schedule waste collection services and address any service-related concerns.
    Maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors.

  • Document Management: Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation related to waste
    management operations.
    Keep organized and accurate records of services, payments, and deposits.
    Support the preparation of documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements and company
    policies.

  • Data Management: Enter and update data in company databases and spreadsheets.
    Generate reports on waste management activities, including collection schedules, inventory levels, and
    performance metrics.

  • Accounting Support: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
    Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Ability to perform tasks in alignment with established procedures by effectively referencing
    previous records.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
    (Excel, Word) is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Experience in an administrative or accounting role is required.
